Hello Marina Residents

Welcome to your new Royal Alfred Marina website. We hope you are going to enjoy this site and find it useful. This is not a static brochure – rather we hope that it will become our online gathering place, where you can find your Marina news, the latest photos, local information, and all the regulations. You can also sell, swap or buy items on the Classifieds page in the Community section.

Excom thanks everyone involved in the development of this new website, especially all those who contributed to previous sites. Much of the content has been culled from those records. We also thank everyone whose stunning photographs show just how magnificent our Marina is. Should you feel that a contribution or photo is not properly credited, or that something is incorrect, please send details to the office - we welcome your input and will rectify any problems.

A few details about the website that you may find interesting:

• 22 pages, with one more coming soon. (If you’d like any questions answered on an FAQ page, please let us know.)
• Over 200 photographs and 8 galleries.
• Links to approximately 25 other websites that may be interesting or useful to you.
• The footer at the end of every page contains the Marina management team's contact details, as well as a Google map link, and quick links to tides & weather, the river mouth webcam and social media.
• A little trivia - the cursive font used for page headings is called “Yellowtail”, which made it the obvious choice for the fishermen amongst us!

Mike Hosty and the management team will forward all appropriate material to our web coordinator, who will add it to either the website or social media. Please join our Facebook group so that you and your family can contribute directly.  In addition to Facebook and Instagram, we are trying out Twitter and LinkedIn too, and will keep those that you find useful.
